An old textile technique is given new life in Anna-Jantina's lovely atelier; NL

Quilts were traditionally made from old clothing and fabric scraps, as an inexpensive way to obtain warm blankets. Textile artist Anna-Jantina's beautiful quilts can also be used as bedspreads or picnic blankets. Over time, Anna-Jantina has sewn hundreds of quilts and thousands of patches, each more beautiful than the next. In this feature we meet the artist in her atelier at home, and see some of her most beautiful creations.
