Designers Ian & Michael's home combines elegant greys with pops of colour; UK

Graphic designers Ian and Michael saw 40 houses before settling on a property on the green belt in north London with vast potential. After getting back from their honeymoon, the couple settled into the grinding work of transforming the house into a home, with a focus on injecting character through cornices and joinery. The house has since gradually been updated, with the final stage being the establishment of a micro bakery in the former garage.
